Muhammadiyah University of Malang - Tugas PATI

This is my campus. I am so proud and happy being a part of this university. Well, it’s not easy for me to be in this cool university. I want to share my story about my journey  to this university. When my senior came to my school, I didn’t know where they come from until they introduced their university, Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM). It wasn’t the first I hear the name, but I didn’t know that the university was one of the most favourite campus in Malang. When they opened the presentation, the first picture was the building of campus, they told us that the building is GKB 1 (Gedung Kuliah Bersama 1). The building was so big and beautiful, the color was white and it made me more interested in that university.

Muhammadiyah University of Malang  consist of campus I, II, and III. Muhammadiyah University of Malang has more than 40 hectares area. Campus I is located in Bandung street number 1, this as a forerunner to the establishment of UMM, now concentrated for postgraduate program (S-2 and S-3) and Kursus Bahasa Asing (KBA). Campus II in Bendungan Sutami street, used for medical school and health sciences faculty (pharmaceutical, D-3 program and S-1 nursing)  and campus III is located in Tlogomas street number 246, Malang. Campus III as the biggest and it’s a center of the campus, in addition to the courses held on campus I and II, held on the campus III. The first thing I know how to be a student in this university is we have to register as a prospective participant. I got in online selection, without following the written test. On May 4^th, I was accepted as one of a student in UMM. I was so happy and shocked at that time.Fortunatelly, my classmate, Selvi and Nayah were also passed the online selection. We met at school and screamed out together happily, we were hugged each other, we were almost about to cried because of happiness. I couldn’twait t see how big and beautiful the university was. We went from South Borneo on Sunday. On Monday, I had to go to the PMB office to pay the registration. It shocked me that the distance between the main gate to the office was too far. The three of us got tired when we arrived at the office, but when we got inside the campus, all of the pain that we feel suddenly gone because we saw so many pretty places, the trees were so much, and it made me more amazed of the campus. Now, started from July 15th – 20th, we will learn the computer aplication. On Sunday, July 21 we have to go back to South Borneo. I knew it was such a great met to know the amazing people in Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Up until now, I still can’t believe that I can be here, being a part of this  amazing university. I always thanks to God, and I hope I can study well and be better in here, so I can share my knowledge to other people so it can be useful.
